Position Overview:

As a Virtual Restaurant Order Taker, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service by accurately and efficiently processing customer orders. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their dining experience starts on the right foot. This role is remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a significant impact on our customers’ satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Order Processing:
  • Receive incoming customer orders via phone, email, or online platforms.
  • Accurately input and process orders into our restaurant’s system.
  • Verify order details, including items, quantities, and special requests.
  1. Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Offer menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
  1. Communication:
  • Collaborate with kitchen and delivery teams to ensure accurate and timely order preparation and delivery.
  • Communicate any special instructions or requests from customers to the appropriate teams.
  1. Menu Knowledge:
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the restaurant’s menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Stay informed about menu updates and seasonal offerings.
  1. Accuracy and Efficiency:
  • Work efficiently to process orders quickly and accurately.
  • Double-check orders to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction.
  1. Order Tracking:
  • Keep track of order statuses and delivery times.
  • Notify customers of any delays and provide estimated delivery times.


  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with online ordering systems.
  • Prior experience in customer service or order taking is a plus.
  • A reliable internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
